LETS GO OVER WHAT HE HAVE LEARNT THESE PASSED FEW LESSONS:
Lesson 1:During this lesson we identified objects that weighed more or less than 1kg. Do we all remember playing the game using the pan balance ? While we were playing the game do we remember adding and taking away weight to balance the scales ?
This game taught us how to equally balance objects according to the pan scales
Once we were experts on using the scales we completed a worksheet that has been glued in your math books !
Lesson 2:This lesson taught us about converting grams to kilograms and kilograms to grams Remember how we played another game that taught us the difference between grams and kilograms ?
We learnt how to convert grams into kilograms and figure out the different weight of some products with our partners. By knowing the difference between both we were able to convert different products using the scales and writing the answers on the worksheet provided.
Lesson 3:This was our final lesson...and we learnt how to figure out which product was lighter and which one was heavier. We began again by playing a game on the interactive whiteboard. This game taught us how to balance different objects and weights.
For example if we had an apple that was 250g we had to place the correct weight on the other scales for both to be equal.
We then guessed whether the different weights of the products that the teacher was showing the class.
After this we worked in our pairs to compare the different weights of products and by reading the labels we were able to say which one was heavier and which one was lighter.
